Clothing Size Guide For Men
Go To Women’s Size GuideHow To Measure Size For Men Clothes
When purchasing clothing, it is critical to take precise measurements to ensure a proper fit. Here's how to measure men's chest, waist, hips, and inseams.
- You'll need a flexible measuring tape.
- A mirror
- A notepad and pen for recording your measurements.
1. Stand naturally
Stand up straight and rest your arms at your sides.
2. Find the fullest part
The chest is measured around the fullest section of the chest, which is usually just under the armpits and across the shoulder blades.
3. Wrap the Tape
Wrap the measuring tape over your chest, making sure it is level and straight across your back. Keep it snug, but not too tight.
4. Read the measurements
Make a note of the number where the end of the tape meets the rest of the tape. This is your chest measurement. Write it down.
Measure Your Waist
Find Your Natural Waistline: Measure your waist to determine your natural waistline. Your natural waistline is the narrowest region of your torso, typically immediately above your belly button.
Stand Straight: Stand erect and breathe normally. Do not suck in your stomach.
Wrap the Tape: Wrap the measuring tape around your natural waistline, ensuring that it is snug but not tight.
Read the measurements: Take note of the number where the end of the tape joins. This is your waist measurement. Write it down.
Measure Your Hips
Find the biggest part: This is the widest portion of your lower body, typically around your buttocks and hips.
Stand with your feet together to achieve a precise measurement.
Wrap the Tape: Wrap the measuring tape around the broadest portion of your hips, maintaining it level throughout.
Read the Measurement: Take note of the number at the conclusion of the tape. This is the measurement of your hips. Jot it down.
Measure your inseam
Wear proper shoes: Wear the shoes you're likely to wear with the pants.
Measure from the crotch to the ankle: Begin at the top of your inner thigh (crotch area) and measure down to the bottom of your ankle. It's easier if someone else can assist.
Read the measurements: Make a note of the number where the tape touches your ankles. This is your inseam measurement. Write it down.
Measuring Your Neck
Neck Measuring: To measure your neck for formal shirts, wrap the tape around the base of your neck, leaving enough space for one finger to pass through.
Sleeve Measuring: Your sleeve by bending your arm at a 90-degree angle and placing your hand on your hip. Measure from the center of the back of your neck, over your shoulder, and down your arm to your wrist.

Men's bottoms, trousers, and denim in Alpha sizes (S, M, L):
Choose the appropriate size based on your waist and hip measurements. If you're between sizes, consider what you'll be doing in the pants.Â
Choose a smaller size for a tighter fit, or a larger size for a loose fit. If your waist and hip measurements indicate different sizes, choose based on your hip size.
For numerical sizes (e.g., 32, 34),
use your waist measurement to determine your size. Our pants should suit your regular size. So, if you wear a size 32 in other brands, you should fit into our pants.
